Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!
CROWNING ACHIEVEMENT!
Bluebell, Eltisley
The Pre-Schoolers got stuck into their coronation activities, decorating crowns for the new king.
The children enjoyed crafting their crowns, using both pencils and glue to achieve the design they wanted.
A royal success!
DENTURES & DRAGONS!
The Anchor, Huntingdon
We celebrated St George's Day recently at the Anchor by making our own dragons and castle.
We also had a great time talking and learning about oral hygiene whilst playing with our resources.
TADPOLE POSITION!
The Appletree, Attleborough
This week, following on from our theme of Growing Life Cycles, Emma brought in some tadpoles from her pond.
The children watched the tadpoles and talked about how they grow legs and turn into frogs.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll watch them grow into frogs and explore other life cycles, too.
The children really enjoyed looking at their colours and counted how many tadpoles there were.

TWEEZY DOES IT!
The Cornerstone, Martlesham
The Barn Owls used tweezers to pick up and transport counting elephants with ease.
They showed strong fine motor skill development in their coordination of small muscles in movement with their eyes, hands and fingers.
MORE MINIBEASTING!
Head Start, Ramsey
We continued exploring minibeasts due to the children being so interested in the topic.
They enjoyed lots of creative activities and made some fantastic minibeasts of their own.
The children also explored our new outdoor construction bricks and enjoyed role playing as builders together.
Our babies enjoyed time in the garden, exploring sand and water.
